Flieber cares about your privacy and treats the personal information of our customers with respect and sensitivity.
Our Privacy Policy is intended to describe how we collect and use information from you. As our services evolve and we perceive the need or desirability of using information collected in other ways, we may amend this Privacy Policy.
We encourage you to check this page frequently to see the current Privacy Policy and Terms of Use in effect and any changes that may have been made to them.
This policy applies to our website (“Site”), our system ("Flieber App"), and our Google Workspace add-on (“Add-on”, collectively, the "Systems"). By using the Systems, you are accepting the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Personal Identification Information
- We may collect personal identification information from Site visitors, Flieber App users, or Add-on users (collectively, the "Users") in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, fill out a form, use our app, install an add-on, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available on our Systems. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and credit card information.
- We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us.
- Our Systems may provide an opportunity for you to post information about you and/or your experiences with us. Remember, by posting any information, it will become publicly available, so please use discretion regarding your own personal information.
- From time to time we send newsletters, emails, and/or other communications to share information or special offers about the Systems. If you have registered with our Systems, rewards program, mobile application, or another one of our promotions you are likely to receive such communications.
Cookies
- Our Systems may use “cookies” to enhance the User experience. Cookies are used to personalize our Systems for you and to collect aggregate information about Systems usage by all of our users.
- Users may choose to set their web browser to regulate the use of cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Doing so, however, may make some of our Systems features unavailable to you.
- We do not provide information received through cookies to third parties for advertising purposes.
Non-Personal Identification Information
Our Systems may use aggregated data for our own research and commercial purposes. This information may include what areas and features our Users visit most frequently, browser name, operating system, internet service providers utilized, and other similar information.
How We Use Collected Information:
- To improve customer service: Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs.
- To personalize user experience: We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Systems.
- We continually strive to improve our Systems offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you.
- To send Users information: Via email, social media, or other means of communication. The email addresses Users provide will only be used to send them information pertaining to what they have signed up for. If a User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email. Flieber will never sell user information to any third-party.
- Flieber does not sell, trade, or rent Users personal information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal information regarding visitors and users with our business partners and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third-party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters and surveys.
Google User Data (Workspace Add-on)
When you connect the Add-on, Flieber may access Google Sheets content and metadata that you select (e.g., cell values, ranges, sheet names, spreadsheet IDs) and your basic profile (email) to identify the connected account.
Scopes used:
We use Google user data only to provide the features you request in the Add-on (for example, reading/writing spreadsheet data you select or running scheduled jobs). We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
Human access to Google user data is limited to: (a) when you ask us for support, (b) security/abuse investigation, or (c) when required by law.
We do not share Google user data with third parties other than contracted service providers necessary to operate the service, who are bound by confidentiality and security obligations consistent with this policy.
Google User Data Retention & Deletion
We retain Google user data only as long as necessary to operate our services. Here are the key retention and deletion policies for data accessed via the Flieber Google Workspace Add-on:
- Temporary Processing/Cache: Google Sheets content may be temporarily cached for up to 72 hours to complete the operations you request, and then is automatically deleted.
- Operational Logs: Metadata such as spreadsheet IDs, timestamps, and job status may be stored for up to 90 days for troubleshooting and security.
- Backups: Encrypted backups may persist for up to 30 days before rolling off.
- User Controls:
- You can delete spreadsheet content directly in Google Sheets.
- You can revoke the Add-on’s access at any time from your Google Account settings.
- You or your Workspace admin can request deletion of any server-side data we store by emailing privacy@flieber.com. We will delete all relevant data within 30 days.
- Account Closure: If your account is closed, we delete or anonymize Google user data within 30 days, except as required for legal or compliance reasons.
Revoking Access
You may revoke the Add-on’s access to your Google data at any time:
- Individual accounts: Google Account → Security → Third-party access → select “Flieber” → Remove access.
- Workspace admins: Admin console → Security → Access and data control → API controls → App access control → select “Flieber” → Change access / Block.
Security
- We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, processing, and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Systems.
- Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise data security. You acknowledge and agree to assume this risk when communicating with us. You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of any member name and password you use in connection with the Systems. If you believe that your account information is being used in an unauthorized fashion, you must contact us immediately.
- We protect Google user data with industry-standard safeguards, including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit and access controls limited to authorized personnel with a business need. We review access periodically and keep audit records of administrative actions. If we become aware of unauthorized access to Google user data, we will investigate, take steps to contain it, and notify affected customers/admins as required by law.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Flieber has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do revise, the updated revision date will be displayed at the top of this page. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it’s your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
Acceptance of These Terms
By using the Systems, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Systems . Your continued use of the Systems following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
